It’s my favorite time of year! I love it when the crisp air begins to roll in as fall approaches. The pumpkin patches begin to fill up, the Halloween decorations start coming out, and yes, even Christmas decorations begin to appear in a lot of stores nowadays.
We all have different traditions this time of year. For us, October is a lot of things. It’s when my wife, Emily, likes to sit on the back porch in the morning with a cup of coffee or hot tea getting ready to start the day. I like to spend my early mornings on a Zoom call with a friend for a Bible study, with a very large cup of hot coffee. As the cooler temperatures start to creep in, the kids are excited about decorating the house for Fall and Halloween.
Emily likes to prepare a favorite comfort food such as beef stew or chili on the cooler evenings. After dinner, we like to spend time watching a little television. Perhaps we will watch an episode of our favorite show, or maybe we will watch a family-friendly Halloween movie, given enough time before the kids go to bed.
Fall is truly my favorite time of year, not only in my personal life but in my business life as well. This is the time we get to really have fun with all of the different events going on as the weather begins to get a little cooler. We get to work with Fall Festivals, church events, Breast Cancer Awareness events, and so many more events going on in the areas we service.
It all begins with many pink & white displays for Breast Cancer Awareness. I know a few people that have battled this deadly disease and survived. You know who you are. I admire your courage to fight and win! This is a fantastic cause we get to participate in with our designs and we’re so thankful to our clients that request these colors during the month of October.
Afterward, we move on to Halloween. The oranges, yellows, whites, blacks, greens, and purples really create a fun and, quite possibly, somewhat eerie look for any party, drive by event, or just as a gift to say Happy Halloween. The possibilities are truly endless.
The fun doesn’t stop there for the fall, but that’s for another blog post. For now, enjoy all of your Fall festivities and, if you’re in the need of balloons for your event, don’t hesitate to let us know! We’re happy to help!
